Palm Springs Aerial Tramway
The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is the one of biggest attractions here in Palm Springs. The Palm Springs Tramway is known for having the world’s largest rotating tramcars, whose slow rotation offers unparalleled views of the surrounding area to the 80 passengers that can ride.
First opened in 1938, the museum moved from location to location until it found a permanent home in 1958. Since then it has blossomed into a cultural center of desert heritage, also featuring impressive and inspiring exhibits.
